This opportunity for previously un-published poets is the chance to have any work selected published in compilation with both published and wider known poets, bringing your work to the attention of publishers and the wider public.

1) Given that the poet submitting work supplies a valid e-mail address an acknowledgement of work received will be forwarded. If an acknowledgment is not received within 3 working days please call us on 0114 278 7000.

2) The poet will not be asked for any payment or contribution to costs.

3) All poems remain the property of the author, but by submitting work you are giving us permission (except as laid out in 5 below) to re-produce and publish your poem(s) if selected. You also give us permission to use your work if needed for publicity and promotional purposes.

4) Royalties will not be paid to previously un-published poets (for the purposes of these conditions the definition of a published poet is someone who’s work has been re-produced as part of a solo collection by an established publisher who offers or has offered that collection for sale in a printed book format that is to say not only in a magazine, pamphlet on-line format or via Vanity or Self Publishing.

5) The selected work of a previously un-published poet will only be used in one publication and any re-prints of the same title. If we wish to include the authors work in any other compilations we will contact the poet for permission to use the work again and offer a royalty for its use.

6) If your work is selected you will receive one copy of the book in which your work is included free of charge, further copies can be ordered at the trade price applicable at the time of launch.

7) If you have supplied a valid e-mail address you will be kept fully informed of launch and publication dates, where the compilation is on sale and any publicity used to promote the work.
